Is this a normal thing or a sign of trouble?

Hello I have noticed my hammer/ frog spawn has a clear bubble coming out of the center of many of the heads. This has been going on for a couple of days. Other than this it seems fine. I ask because this has never happened before.

Some things I have read say it might be getting ready to split?

My Montipora cap. used to do this too, but the 1/2" - 3/4" bubble would be across the surface of the plate instead of one polyp. As with yours, I suspected it was a sign of rapid growth as it seemed to happen when color of the coral was at its peak.

That's a very good thing. They do that when they are starting a new head. Means it's healthy.
