Hello I’ve had this anemone for a couple weeks now and it looked very good for most of those but then it stopped coming out as much and today looked a little funky but with how often they change forms I’m unsure how to tell if they are healthy

Does not look terrible but the appearance suggests there may be a lack of water flow. Other causes would be high nitrate and/or phosphate, lack of feeding (feed small pieces of krill and even mysis shrimp), insufficient lighting as examples

I don’t believe it could be flow I will do a phosphate test and nitrate test today and check he did choose the spot he’s in in an attempted to move out of flow it appeared he’s next to my acros

If moving and moving towards acros, I would look at flow
Too little and they shrivel up
Too much and they move or hide
Same with light- too much and they hide and too little, they shrivel or climb towards the the light

Sorry I set it a few inches from where it is now. It climbed behind the rock then to where it is now within 48 hours and has been there for about a month now. It’s seemed very happy extending very large now it looks like it missing tentacles. It is hosted by clowns
