This is sadly my first post on here but I’ve had this Haitian Anemone for around a month now, it’s my first anemone and it has been looking great and has been eating but it’s never really moved around which sounds like a blessing but it worries me, today it has shrunk drastically and shoved himself under the rock he sits on the side of, nothing has changed in the tank what should I do??

Yeah it does a little bit which I know to be normal at night but never did it that much, are they bottom dwelling? I’ve seen many photos of them on rocks but mine has never found itself on one

My bubble tip anemone crawled around for the first few days and then settled in the lowest light spot in the whole tank lol. I agree don’t freak out and change everything around unless you’ve thought about it. Have you ever fed it?

They are animals with a daily life, mine gets huge during day, tiny at night, poops, sometimes hides for a day for no reason.

Aware. Bought him like that because I felt bad trying to fatten him up!
Mysis, nori, pellets if he'll eat those. Pellets have a lot of calories which help with these issues. Tangs have a very high metabolism.
