The Mag has been on the move the past couple of days, it started when the spotlight went out on Thursday( cooling fan was caked with dust) . I was able to get the light fixed and the nem back to its it’s original spot, and it was fine for a day and now it on the move again. I’m just going to let it do its thing this time and hopefully it goes back to the top.

I will say it is nice seeing it from a different angle in the tank.

It’s looking good! I’m curious to see if it goes back to its original spot now that spotlight is back on.

I have a feeling it will because the way I have my lights set up, the prime is in the middle of the tank about 2-3 in off the surface of the water with the K7pro 6in directly above. That has made it to where there is a steep PAR drop.

Mag still hasn’t made it back to its original's spot, and is still on the move. I’m thankful the signs of it getting ready to move are relatively easy to spot, as I had to move several corals around

I think this is a great reference picture of the “puffy foot” that mags get during locomotion:

Its not happy with conditions where it was ... may wind up on the glass ... make sure everything is covered
It had stayed there for the 3-4 months I have had it, so I can only assume that it was happy, one of my lights that was directly above it went out while I was at work last week, and that’s what got it moving. It looks like it is making its way back up to where it was at now.

After doing some testing last night, it seems that my nutrients are a little high, for my liking at least. I will be doing a water change tonight to get those numbers down.

The nem did make it back to its original spot this morning but, it is continuing to walk around.

Another update for anyone that is still following along:

Did a 5g water change on Monday.

Tuesday the nem was still wandering but starting to stay put for longer periods throughout the day.

Wednesday the nem finally made back to the top of the rock, it has planted its foot on the top level of my aquascape, as well as a small portion still stuck to the level underneath.

I suspect it will move all the way back up to the top in due time, but for now it’s happy and I’m happy.
