Built mine using AMOCO and acrylic rods to support the arc...
That looks beautiful i like ur arches and did u glu those rocks to the back of ur tank

I went with the wall look bc I need lot's of space for my zoa addiction haha. But I tried to limit the amount that the rock is touching the sand. There's a lot of caves too for the fish to swim in and out of and hide.

Just got the leds hooked up last night
The all important Aquascape begins with an obsession and is always a work in progress. For my biocube, I was re-scaping well into the 3rd month of setup.
And this is the story with my Red Sea Max
50 lbs uncured rock
Which look like this
Getting wet (and stinky)
The rocks get photographed and their shape drawn on cardboard after determining the best balance and side they should face (the UPS box is an almost exact measurement of the footprint of the DT)
Then you start building and trying different ideas
After you find the layout that looks good, you start to assemble it in the tank. One piece at a time, with emaco to cover where one rock meets the other, keeping the live stuff under wet paper towels while you work.
A whole day of back breaking labor later:
