Thanks Rufus, much appreciated. More corals coming soon!Your tank is looking awesome! I've really been enjoying watching your progress.
Here's the line up. Not sure in the names...need Adam from battlecorals to chime in and help.
Most are looking good. Had a cyano outbreak, and ended up losing 2 frags, and everything was really, really ticked when I over doesed H2O2 buuutt everything is back to being happy. Actually almost.complelty lost my pink cadillac, went down to a single.polyp, but is stable and coming back now. Still dont know what all the BattleCorals frags are other than sps. I'll grab some pics at some point and put them up for all to enjoy. How’re they all looking?
Your tanks been looking great!
I read somewhere, cant remember where, that coral reaches a photo-inhibition period, where they have absorbed all their daily needs of light, after a span of 4-6 hours. So doing it this way, the coral has a 6 hour period of light and a 6 hour period of rest, twice a day. Effectively doubling the growth capacity...in theory. But seriously so far- puffiest, happiest, most PE showing SPS i've ever had in my 10 years of reefing. What are the two complete lighting schedules supposed to do in terms of coral health/growth? Or do you have another reason for trying it? Just curious.
