Nothing yet. They said end of this month so I was hoping to hear that it was shipping later in May. I’m honestly traveling a bunch for work so it’s not a bad thing for me. The only problem I have is that my rock is cooking in the garage and Houston is getting hot so I’m going to have to move those trash cans inside soon and I don’t really have room for them. Temp during the heat of day is 79.7. I figure it can get up to about 82 before I have to move them

My plan for right now to get it into the house is to use some flat furniture dollys and roll it into the house. I may have to put it on its side for a minute to get it through the front door.

Thats a good idea too. Maybe some 4 inch wheels? I don't have any steps from my garage to my front door. Just a lip at the garage and the door threshold.

So I'm going to be out of town next week and I talked to IM. They suggesting having the tank ship middle of next week so it will arrive when I get back into town. I didn't want my house sitter to be responsible for looking over the tank while I'm gone.

Also placed an order for all of the plumbing with BRS. That should be here on Thursday along with a new PAR meter and Hanna Nitrate tester. No more comparing colors and guessing where I'm at. :)

Question for everyone, I’m seasoning my rock in trash cans in the garage. It’s gotten hot outside and the temp in the cans get up to 82 in the cans. Is this too hot for the bacteria or will it be fine for another week?

82 is actually good for bacterial to grow.

Ordered the EXT 200 Complete Reef set up - the day they announced it - February 27, 2023.
Received a few emails already. Delivery expected this Wednesday June 14th.
Super excited
Also..... would want to use a reefmat (RS 1200?) - Ive been over cups - esp socks for a while. But the sump has other positive qualities - (74 gallons to start!) I'm sure I could put the reefmat in the skimmer chamber - then the skimmer in the refugium (if I want to NOT have a refugium)...
I'm curious to see what others do - that have the IM Sump - what and how you did for a reefmat ???

I’m not using a reef mat. I’ve decided to keep with the large cup.

Time for an update: Friday night I got the stand built tested it for strength :) Luckily it passed hahah.

Question for all the larger tank IM folks out there, the stand feels "solid," but I have pushed it a little back and forth and there is some give there. It scares me just a bit. Is this normal and will the weight of the water stiffen that up?

Sunday I called a few helpful buddies over to put the tank on the stand. I won't say that it was "easy" but we managed. I pulled the tank away from the wall a bit so I could plumb it up before I slide it back against the wall. This is my first tank over 90 gallons. You don't realize how heavy these big builds are in terms of setup and just moving them out enough to work behind the tank.

Last question: anyone that has a larger IM setup, I would love to see how you setup your cabinet. I'm really struggling with how I want to set everything up underneath and keep it clean. I'd rather set it up right before I fill it rather than redoing it later and working around running equipment.

It will never stop wobbling, unfortunately. People will tell you it's because it's not level - that's just not true. The only thing I can tell you is my EXT75 is on that wobbly stand and it hasn't failed. I still wince every time I use the magnet cleaner though.

How many folks did it take to lift the tank? I'm going to be moving mine into the office this weekend. It seems heavy but less than the 600lbs it's listed at.

Curious what you come up with as far as layout under the stand.

Man this makes me super nervous!!! Having roughly 1300 lbs 41 inches off the ground on an unstable platform....... Not sure I love it! To lift if we used 4 guys. We set the front panel down on two carts and wheeled it from my garage to my front door. Once we got to the front door we slid it over the brick threshold onto a rug with a smooth comforter on top of it. Once it was inside the house, we laid it back down onto the carts on its natural bottom and rolled it to the base of the stand. From there it was just a pick up and place. It was a bit of a bugger getting it to line up with the mats because it is a tall stand. I'm 6' 6" and I struggled getting leverage.

As far as under the stand, I'm not sure. I really don't know what I want to do. I was hoping I'd see someone else's to inspire me :) I'll keep ya updated though.
