If you pick up your healthy snails do you see any snails attached to them? These are really tiny. Like half the size of a grain of rice. Sometimes look like sand attached to your snail.

not seen any on snails but I’m half blind in one eye and can’t see out of the other. This baby has been in glass for a day. I know all you see is a dot that was the best I could do. Figured it was in glass so it was safe.

the other inverts seem healthy, its likely the snails are dying of starvation
I never logged or tracked this but I’m very certain many species prefer that soft new algae over the harder stringy stuff… anyway my snail mortality dropped and longevity increased when I stopped fussing over clean glass everyday … it doesn’t help if you go too long as the grazing can get tough but a 36 hr greenish glass “dusting” seem ideal
