I was cleaning my sump and found this

The sump features TBSW live rock about a year old. Does not look like any aptaisia iv ever seen. Looks almost clear with a beautiful highlighter green glow. Can anyone tell me if it friend or foe

Looks like aptasia. Some are more white than the rest.

Well it looks pretty cool, but I’m thinking colonial hydroid per this other thread. Looks like they can become invasive unfortunately.

Aptasia no doubt. Keep it simple and Using a syringe or pipette, inject either lemon juice or better yet. . kalkwasser powder mixed with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste and inject into the very center core and it will melt away

So, before I killed this I went to TBSW and looked up hitch hikers. This is not aptaisia but a coral. Reef safe. The rock it's on is from TBSW. Glad I didn't kill it.
