I’m new to this and trying to set up a 90 gallon tank. I want putting a flame angel, mandarin fish, royal gramma midget chromis and a lawnmower blenny in it. The filtration system I want to use is a aquaclear 110 hob power filter and 2 aqueon powerheads with 950 gph. I need advice on if this setup would work, what lights to get and if I need a skimmer. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Do you know a site where I could find that?
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with buying used gear. Tons of facebook groups dedicated to the hobby. Good for you set realistic goals for what you want to accomplish with the tank.

You can get a used reef sump online too on marketplace or build one from a kit keep reading here. Do a search on building a diy sump

While looking at sump options I Realized that a sump is super expensive. Could i get a canister filter or another type or is a sump needed for a tank that size?

Sump would probably be more efficient. However many people do just fine with canister filters as well. Also depends on the tank you get. If it’s drilled and has an over flow already
