I'll be honest. I had to Google scrapple, but I live in the south and way to close to New Orleans not to try that. Id probably need hot sauce though. Looks great lol

Nope! But I like food, love to cook, and I'm listening ;-)
It’s a NJ / NY thing so I’m surprise you haven’t. They also call it pork roll. It’s it’s own flavor…a smoky ham breakfast sandwich meat. Taylor ham egg and cheese. Incredible

This website has some info on it and will ship it!

My orange plate. It’s not a bright orange, more like a sunset orange. It’s got one speck of bright green on it. I always wondered what will make it green. I usually put it on the sand, but I put it on the rock for some reason I can’t remember.

This is a yellow/orange plate. One of my favorite corals in my tank.

My green tentacle plates. One has a purple base, and the other one is yellow base. I also have a tiny plate that is barely hanging on, and being smothered by GHA.

You went there in person to tell them about the BJD torch or was this discussed with them before you went? I was sent the wrong Cynaria, took about a week to settle the issue and I happened to be at SD two weeks ago, stopped by there and told them that I had credit from that issue, nothing I wanted from their display store, I went onto their site and show them the plate I wanted which they gave me no issues.
Glad we were able to get it handled. Sorry for any prior issues!!

I picked my orange plate out from AquaSD when I swung by after taking the kids to SeaWorld. They had sent me a BJD'd Torch, so I just asked them if I could get a plate as a replacement and they let me pick it out when I went there. I will say, it didn't look amazing when I was there in person, but it perked up in my tank and is one of my favorites now!
If i am not mistaken I remember this. Glad to hear things were taken care of and happy to help however we can :)

I have one that’s a goldish/orangish color and love it. I’m amazed at how much they can move themselves. I’ve moved mine where I want it and he moves back to the same place he wants to be.

Acros and Euphyllia get so much love. Where's the love for plate corals? I love 'em! Super bright. Puffy. Some are tentacly. And great appetites. Oh, and they resurrect themselves. @VintageReefer I know you've got some to show!

Now for my newest plate's journey:

Bought a beautiful long-ish tentacle plate from a local. It was smaller than expected. About the width of a frag plug stem. And not looking happy during pickup.

This is what it was supposed to look like:
1729702490369.jpeg

All good, I don't like giving up on a living coral, and the local agreed to keep an eye on it and replace if it didn't make it.

Didn't look like it was going to make it. Lost most of its flesh. Lost its MOUTH! Ribs were fully exposed.
1729702360019.jpeg

Passed it off as a goner, but a couple weeks later, lo and behold, flesh! Not much else, but looks like the beginnings of a mouth!
1729702347454.jpeg

Yes, it has a mouth now! I can feed it. And it eats very small pellets! No tentacles yet.
1729702385025.jpeg

Fast forward to today. Just noticed tentacles for the first time! Keep going little guy!

Any else have good plate photography or stori

Ok, here’s a picture I just took…it is still not nearly as beautiful as all of your guys corals.

Ah yeah, I really want a diaseris also. I've mostly seen them sold as wedges. I assume they grow to normal circular proportions.

Here is a picture of the exact coral I purchased that you will find in my tank picture. The pic on the right is the mother coral of the frag I have. So not perfectly circular (but normal nonetheless...darn near close). Its been in my tank 2 months and its encrusting the whole plug and forming a circle :). I can't wait for it to get bigger like my red devil in the front. That thing grew so FAST!
