I found this on my rocks its a crab, but what type?

My rock is from tamoa bay saltwater and i found this critter on one anyone know what it is?

I also saw a thing tentacle arm it was black and white with stripes im thinking brittle star

How big was it? Could be a brittle star, there are also micro brittle stars

The black tips on the claws is how you tell it is a bad crab. It is a very bad crab.

It would die there (acceptable in my opinion). I had a few in my TBS live rock. Best to euthanize them. Freezer, boot heel, just make it quick if you can. People have opinions about euthanasia. So best just to do it and not post about it too much...

tank finished cyycling on 7/12 i think so abouy s month old i was gonna get a new fish today but one of my lfs i went to didnt have one i wanted so checking out other lfs tomorrow
