I Fixed my salinity guardian !!! Hi for the past 6 mths my salinity guardian has been sending me low salinity alarms, I’ve removed it cleaned it recalibrated it only to have it alarm again a day later. I searched the forums and found others who had the same fault and had replaced the unit several times and eventually removed it from the system. I searched the faq at reef factory to be told to find a 600gr file to clean and then recalibrate the sensor, which i did i repositioned the unit as well only to have it start alarming every hr a day later. I was about to pull it out and throw the unit away., i had thought maybe a pod swims through it occasionally and triggers it so i got my torch to inspect the sensor and there was a pod residing inside the sensor. I flushed the sensor and holder and placed one of my wifes panty hose stockings over the unit that was 2 days ago and it hasnt alarmed once . The salinity reading has been rock solid . Woowooo

This is great! I have been struggling with this exact same problem. Can you please send me one of your wife’s stockings so I can make this change?
I am willing to pay for shipping.
