This guy has been hunting my wrasses and killing my hermit crabs for too long. I've even speared him and left a hole in him and he still survived in my tank. And tonight he crawled into a small rock and i was finally able to just pull out the entire rock an extract him. This guy has given me nightmares literally.

Somebody else said to keep it... i set up a 5g a few months ago because i was pulling so many out of my new florida gulf rock.... im up to 9 now, and i still see a few small ones in my DT... They are kinda cool to see when they areNOT killing all your stuff, and they even get along together in thier little 5g.

i try not to kill anything i find in my system. everything goes in the refugium, which is no longer called the refugium, but Jurassic park! every time i get some corals in i pull off the critters and sump them.
the way i see it, they didn't ask to be here. i ordered the corals that prompted the collectors to yank out of the ocean for me. i'm sure your crab is not evil, but just doing what a crab does.
check this out-
i pulled a small (about the size of a pea) crab off of a piece of sps about a year ago and tossed him in the sump...about 6 months later i was servicing my skimmer and saw a crab about the size of a chicken egg in the sump area!
it turns out he's a threatened species from singapore waters. the brown egg crab.

and here's a picture of my little buddy-
