Ended up with a clown for my pico, but he came from a tank where other livestock had ich. Pulled everything from the pico and put it in my mixed reef except for LS. Lowered salinity from 1.025 to 1.021 and dripped him for an hour. My plan was to keep dropping it till it's in the 008 range and hold there for three weeks and then add back the LR and start stocking corals. This will be the only fish in this tank. Also what temp should I keep it at? My usual is 78deg.

So its in your mixed reef, but the tank doesn't have any corals??

And if this will be the only fish in the tank, and it is not showing any signs, I personally would not treat it. If it was going into a tank with other livestock than I likely would.

If you do proceed with hypo, you need to hold it there for 4 weeks. Keep temp at 78°; no reason to change it.

Ok I misunderstood your post. So again, if it will be the only fish in the tank period, I personally would not treat him if/when it shows signs.
