One of my zebra barred dartfish managed to get into my Lifereef overflow, through the siphon tube, into the drain section, past the “muffler”, then out of the filter sock, through the bubble trap, and is now in my refugium…

Where it’s being uncooperative about efforts to return it to the main tank.

Any ideas on how to get this little bugger out of there without dismantling the fuge, which will probably cause more issues than it solves due to setup.

I'd turn off the return pump and let the display drain into the sump. Once that is done, get a small pump and pump the sump water into a bucket or container until the water level in the sump is low enough to catch it. Add water back to sump and start up the return.

I understand not wanting to rip apart the fuge, but you may need to remove some rock.

Don't forget to scold the little bugger and tell it not to do that again.
