No time for multiple tanks when you have a full time job posting on R2R eh blaxsun? :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
I have a second smaller tank (IM Atoll 12-gallon acrylic) but it's a PITA to clean and ATO is a potential headache. The wife would like seahorses and pipefish so we'll see...

And yes, it sometimes feels like that... :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

i cant think

How do you deal with MTS (multiple tank syndrome)? What has or has not worked for you?
I run 2 tanks and I have 1 tank for my reef cautious fish (such as angels, rabbitfish, butterflies) and 1 for my fish that I can actually keep with the corals I can’t grow in my 4’ tank (such as favia, and most SPS).

When I had multiple tanks, two salt and one fresh it seemed one of the salts was always "meh". I'd get one running very well while the other suffered. The fresh just existed.

Once the big salt fowlr went away a few years ago I could focus on my reef. The fresh turned into an overgrown terrarium which also got taken down.

I got enough cool aquatic life around my home, various species of frogs in nearby wetlands and a trout stream running through my backyard. It's been raining almost everyday where I live...feels like I'm living in a tropical rainforest.

I also work at a trout hatchery with close to 40,000 pounds of fish so I get my fish fix there..
