How can I tell if my pump is just not very silent or if I received a defective one?

I don't want to sound impatient, but Sicce hasn't contacted me since I opened a ticket with them yesterday. The status still shows as "new." To manage my expectations, if you have ever contacted their support service, how long did it take for them to reply?

I have already tried all the suggestions, but the pump is still as loud as ever. It's a bit frustrating. However, I'm glad to have this community to discuss it with.

Using ecotech marine as a baseline, 2-3 days as of my last warranty request which was earlier this year + 2 weeks to get a replacement sent out.

I wanted to provide an update on my interaction with Sicce's support team.

They informed me that it might take 1 to 2 weeks for the pump to fully quiet down and advised me to contact them again if the problem persists after that time.

I replied that I am okay with waiting one or two weeks if the expected noise is a rattling sound or strong vibration, rather than just a loud hum. However, if the rattling and vibration are not normal, I would appreciate it if they could address the issue sooner.

Let's see what they reply.
