Tangs, tangs, tangs and more tangs! I don't have any snails or crabs.

Except blue tangs, they just swim around looking pretty and chucking tanties

Lower organics, higher flow, manual removal.
Yeah that’s been the approach.. organics are low n03 around 5-7 and p04 at .03. Flow is high.. manual removal has been working but comes back every time.. I believe it has something to do with my tank runner hotter now that it’s 110° outside in Vegas..

When it's time to start up, I'm gonna do a 4 month cycle, all the while aiming for numbers I want to keep by the time the lights come on. Then just maintain it all.

How do you handle bubble algae I don’t have enough room for a fox face?
Pitho and emerald crabs. I had a very bad bubble algae problem and they've cleared it up. Pithos eat the low stuff and emeralds will eat the higher up bubbles. I have three of each in an 80 gallon.
