Me, yesterday: This is an expensive hobby. I can wait a few more weeks to start picking out gear.
Me: 2 minutes later...BRS has a sale on MP40s..I'm going to save $$...buys 2.

Me: 1 hour later, I don't need that now, I should cancel order. Goes to cancel..
BRS website: Order in picking
Me: Someone is picking out my MP40s...I can't cancel now, that would be rude. I'll need them soon anyway.

Today: I don't need (2) 65g Norwesco vertical water containers...brute cans will do just fine.
Me: 2 hours later, a farm fleet store 1 hour away has the last two in stock, for pickup...ie: no shipping charges.
Me: 5 minutes later - planning my evening around getting out there to pick them up as they are paid for.

Doesn't make any sense, but it sure is fun.

Try muscle cars as a hobby. Just the gas today will hurt, let alone engine builds every couple years, tires every couple months, etc...
