So this is now growing in nicely. this was one of the frags you gave away a few months ago. it has patiently been sitting on a top rock. looks to be coloring up nicely now. any idea what it is?

Looks like a purple tipped valida to me.

Valida / cerealis, likes pretty high flow and quite high light to maintain the purple. Sometimes you get a colony with green polyps.

Dave!!!!! Thanks so much. Yes it is high in the tank under a 250 watt halide and in a good flow area. Thanks for the info. I'm really digging it looks wise. One of the best looking ones. Just need a bettter photo of it.
