Honestly, I think the regular 360s unless they are narrows won't penetrate as far as the noopsyche. The 360x I have no experience with. I would love to get my mitts on one to try it out though.
I see. I just hooked up my 360x controller today. It’s like I was in the stone ages before. The color options the new controller gives you are insane! Worlds better than the normal 360 controller. My coral in my 40b are fluorescing like crazy tonight now that I have the UV cranked up.

Pictures straight up do not work with this spectrum, even with a polyp lab. You guys are gonna have to believe me, it looks incredible.

It’s a shame the pics look so awful.

does your flame eat your zoas? i was kinda hoping mine would given my hitchhiker zoa issue, but of course, nothing. i got some $5 zoas at the lfs to see if he'd eat prettier stuff and nothing so far, so kinda tempted to work in some zoas... i'm assuming my luck will be he just has high dollar tastes though ;Facepalm

Yea he does. He’s the worst lol. That’s the main reason he’s in here and not in my 90. He eats acans and torches as well lol. Every zoa in the 40 is a hitchhiker zoa as well. Just stuff that came off frag plugs before the biocube transfer to my 90 that ended up going crazy. No zoas or palys were purchased for this tank if you get what I mean.
Edit: except the rastas, that’s 40b exclusive.

I installed my coral+ bulbs to replace the actinic in my hybrid last night. It’s super bright today. So much brighter than it was prior. I’m going to see how this goes for a month with growth and color in the 90 before I make hasty new led upgrade purchases. It stinks I did this after I sent off the par meter :( . But it looks drastically brighter, my wife’s eyes hurt, that’s a win in my book.

Thank you! 10 gal res is so nice to have, I’m glad I got that for the 90. I like the gyres a lot, they move a lot of water. As things grow in I’ll most likely add mp40’s under them or get some smaller directional pumps to reach the slower flow zones. For the most part though I am happy with them.
