it was my first time dealing with clam. I got some fish and corals to include a clam from a local hobbyist who recent got out of the hobby. When I removed the clam, I might have accidentally damaged it foot. I acclimated it and went into my tank, it was happy for couple of months.

Now it’s being closed up for about a week or two with its mantle slightly out.

I flipped it over and saw that the foot, there’s a hole, but don’t see anything rotting away, yet.

Heard they don’t like high nitrate and mine is at around 20.

What’s my next step in attempt to save it.

Thanks
