Real quick question..... Tank Red Sea Max 250 AIO looking at buying something to break up flow instead of having flow in one constant direction. So my choices are a new Jebao SCP 70 for about $75 on Amazon or a used Maxspect xF250 for $80??? I am fairly certain I know the answer but just looking to confirm I am making the right decision. Or is it even needed in this tank eventually I want to get into having some really nice corals in the tank and could having the ability to have more flow be a bad thing ??

+1 on hygger (link below). I used a hygger and a maxspect on my frag tank. The hygger is a little louder but works just as good for significantly cheaper. The random flow mode is excellent. I personally wouldn't buy a used pump, you really don't know what it's been through. I have jebaos in my display, they work well but the controllers are cheap trash and the app sucks.

General consensus around here for those that have used them is Jebao pumps and powerheads are awesome for the price point.

I agree generally, but the hygger is only $10 more than the jebao SCP70 and it seems to be higher quality from my first hand experience. Just food for thought.

Ok looks like I will be ordering the Hygger 18W and just running it on low so that it doesn't over power my tank I'm sure I will find the right settings as I explore the hobby and get used to how things should be

Agreed. I'm going Maxspect with my upcoming tank. It's a VERY versatile powerhead.
I have them in different configurations in different tanks and they’ve been great in all settings. In my mixed reef they’re at the top of the tank and mostly create lots of surface movement and blast the acros on top. On my acro dominated tank they’re vertical and create great movement throughout. Have been very impressed with ease of use and maneuverability.

I use mine in a Nuvo 30. No concerns with overpowering. I keep it dialed down to about 40%. You will definitely be able to kick it up a notch in your RedSea 250.
