Help me with Pic posting

OK so I am computer "challenged". When I go to post a pic I click on the manage attachments and browse my computer. When I find the pic I want to attach I select open and upload. After about 60 seconds I get "upload of file failed" and that is it. These are pictures that I have taken on my digital camera and downloaded to "My Pictures" on my computer. They just have a file name like dcs12345. I even tried renaming them with .jpg on the end. Can someone give me a clue and help me out? Thanks.

Yea I suck. I tried uploading to the Gallery and it acts like it works but no picture to be found.

OK did you try downloading photbucket.com is what I use?
once you get a pic there let us know?

I have some pics that just won't load also.... the pic before it works and the pic after works....they display in my photo file on my computer..... state's it is an invaild format and to contact the admin...

thanks for loading them.... straight off the camera into my pictures folder... using MS's download program.... the same way all the others were processed. I had a few others that did the same thing... I tried loading one at a time to see if that was a problem but it didn't make a difference...
