Purple tang developed these lesions two days ago, only fish are the tang, 2 clowns, file, diamond goby. Could he have been tagged by an anemone or is this something worse? Screenshot_20240930_141429_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20240930_141422_Gallery.jpg

Fight marks?
Scrapes from chase?
Looks fast and new.
Any damage on fins?
Clown might try that….
Couple chunks from fins. She's usually an aggressor so the clowns standing up for themselves wouldn't surprise me

I would also say HLLE but it doesnt happen overnight. Do you run carbon? Do you feed a varied diet mostly consisting of algaes? Hows the nitrate and phosphate level in the tank.

I’ve seen HLLE develop fairly quickly. It is also pretty common for folks to miss the initial signs of it.

There isn’t anything else that causes these symmetrical erosion on the head, and the notched fins are also a symptom of this in zebrasoma tangs.
