Help identifying COD

Hello all. I was hoping that someone could possibly help in identifying what killed my Coris wrasse. He’s been in quarantine for the last 3 weeks or so, of which the last 2 weeks was in copper at 2.0ppm. I noticed a change in behavior a few days ago when I found him wedged sideways between the bottom of the tank and the pvc pipe I have in there. He still came out to eat that first day but that decreased the next day until he died last night. After removing him from the tank I observed whitish/silver colored patches on the body and head, on both sides. I tried my best to get the clearest picture that I could. Any help would be greatly appreciated so that I know how to proceed with the qt tank since there are 2 other fish in there (blue head fairy wrasse and pink spotted goby). Thank you!

Can't help on cause but copper should be at 2.25. Any time it drops below 2.0 you run the risk of needing to restart the 30 days.

Looks a bit like a bit mark behind the eye.
Maybe attacked and lost?
Very common in close quarters.

It's hard to say - it could have been bacterial or possible uronema.

NOT uronema and bacterial issue/lesions which may have stemmed from bites from another tank maybe or from sharp objects including rock. You want to treat it in a separate tank using seachem Neoplex with added aeration and maintain good water quality

I was under the impression that wrasses were more sensitive to the copper which is why I kept it at 2

It’s a basic quarantine set up so nothing sharp, no rocks. I haven’t seen any aggression. I know there’s still the possibility, I didn’t stare at the the tank 24/7. My best guess yesterday was to actually treat with Neoplex so I bought it but obviously too late

The most important thing right now is to ensure what killed the yellow wrasse doesn’t affect the remaining fish.

Have you been measuring and managing the ammonia in that tank?

Are there any symptoms in the remaining fish?

Yellow wrasses are really, really prone to Uronema when first acquired. I don’t see the typical lesions, but can’t rule that out 100%. Luckily, though it isn’t highly contagious.

Did you have other fish with that one in QT
