Hello R2R, I have been having an algae problem that started on the shells of my snails and is now taking over my rockwork. Anyone know what kind of algae this is and how to get rid of it, thanks!

Can you pull some out and get a better (closer) picture of it. Second one does kind of look like but still way to hard for me to tell.

I figured it out, it's Acetabularia. I'm just not sure how to get rid of it. apparently, it is a macro algae enthusiast's dream to have these.

in the bottom right you can see what some call a Mermaids cup. these cups just so happen to be everywhere along with the other single green strands. every time I try to pull one out, it rips in half or falls apart. I will try again in a few days.
