Help finding a stand, open to out-of-the-box ideas

you'll probably be better off buying something else at that price point. doesn't seem like a bad choice, just not much head room lol.

Yeah the sink will get in the way haha. . . I would probably cut the sink out of the top. . . but kinda pricey for something I would be cutting up.

LFS has this, and it might be my best bet, but buying or building a workbench would probable save some cash:

I debated a cabnit, how did you reinforce it for weight though?

I hired a local carpenter to build me a very robust and nice looking stand. It was surprisingly affordable.

I have a beautiful wood stand that my best who is a carpenter, built me, specifically for that tank size. Unfortunately, you are too far away

Most diy aquarium stands are way way over built, but I basically added plywood and made it thicker, and just added more wood for structure and to support the weight. You can look at my build thread for some photos of what I did. Also attaching it to the wall adds strength, and being in a corner helps too

Did you know.... If you put the letter "F" and ugly together you get asterina stars... wouldn't even think that is possible...
