The dimensions of the tank are 29.92 x 5.9 x 7.87 inches and I'm basically worried that since the tank isn't too deep, a bar light may be too strong for some of the corals? Or is this a needless worry lol. Honestly any light suggestions for the tank are welcome I'm hoping to spend $150 >. Thanks in advance!

Think the obvious choice would be the Blade Smart LED Strip - Coral Grow (21 inch or 30”) with a mounting add on (8” +21.1” = 29.1” which is .8” short) or suspension/arm kit with mounting clips by AI. The tank is an odd one so finding a single solution may be hard. It’s well worth waiting a little longer if you need to gather more cash - or wait for a sale.

That's a perfect application for the Fluval Marine 3.0. They make a 32w, 24" strip that would work perfectly on that size tank. It's also fully programmable via bluetooth and an app.

It's only $35 over your budget.
