not yet. was planning on doing that sometime this week.I like the removable panels cause the look will match your canopy. Have you put the rock in to see how you like it?

just for the first few weeks. then I plan on removing them. With the overflow in the far back corner its going to be a real pain for changing filter socks every 3-4 days. I will just siphon out anything that builds up in the sump. Are you going to be using filter socks?
hmm that may be an idea. I am kinda worried that a long horizontal overflow run may hinder the performance of the overflows. Have you see others with similar setups? That's what i was concerned about. Was think you might want to rotate it either 90 or 180 for ease of maintenance.
Thanks! Yah is kinda a slow process but, that is how you get good results in this hobby. Taking time and doing it right!Looking good so far!
Cant wait to see that bad boy filled up!!
I absolutely love DIY builds and this one looks amazing! Also, I love the Zen Reef heater holder and have added it to my wish list! Also! PVC lined the bottom of my stand for extra guard from getting the floor wet.
The old thermostat had a nasty pumpkin orange color under it.
Test fitting the lights in the hood skeleton.
Nice build, following! Curious, I assume the acrylic container w lid is an ATO reservoir, what's the small glass aquarium sitting on box for?So here is a new sump layout. What do you think?
the small aquarium is going to be a acclimation tank for brining in finicky eating fish. I love leopard wrasses and they are very hard to get to eat. I use a seperate tank that I let build up with pods so I have some buffer room to get them eating prepared food. Once they are eating frozen they go into the main tank.Nice build, following!
