Are you going to be using filter socks?
just for the first few weeks. then I plan on removing them. With the overflow in the far back corner its going to be a real pain for changing filter socks every 3-4 days. I will just siphon out anything that builds up in the sump.

That's what i was concerned about. Was think you might want to rotate it either 90 or 180 for ease of maintenance.

hmm that may be an idea. I am kinda worried that a long horizontal overflow run may hinder the performance of the overflows. Have you see others with similar setups?

I have a trigger emerald 34 below a 150dd. The ATO and dosing containers are behind it and a advent marine zeo reactor is in front of it on the right side. The front middle and front left is open for future stuff. Quite a bit of room under there due to the depth.

Post #43 show some of my plumbing. The horizontal lines are short so it does not effect performance.

Also! PVC lined the bottom of my stand for extra guard from getting the floor wet.

The old thermostat had a nasty pumpkin orange color under it.

I absolutely love DIY builds and this one looks amazing! Also, I love the Zen Reef heater holder and have added it to my wish list!

Nice build, following! Curious, I assume the acrylic container w lid is an ATO reservoir, what's the small glass aquarium sitting on box for?
the small aquarium is going to be a acclimation tank for brining in finicky eating fish. I love leopard wrasses and they are very hard to get to eat. I use a seperate tank that I let build up with pods so I have some buffer room to get them eating prepared food. Once they are eating frozen they go into the main tank.
