Looks like you got sponges and lots of great stuff! Any more baby urchins yet? This thing. It has a very distinct base. Can't tell what color it is though
Where is duchess county?I wish I could share the smell that I will get to enjoy. I will be keeping it in a 100 gallon Rubbermaid with heaters, and powerheads until the die-off subsides.
That looks like Aiptasia, I had it on/in my initial live rock order, but was eradicated by my peppermint shrimp. This lil one just popped up
50 miles north of NYC.Where is duchess county?
Update: we have either nems or corals and a lil baby urchin now
I don't think aptaisia is native to the gulf coast ecosystem. From what I have read any way, it might be a curly q.That looks like Aiptasia, I had it on/in my initial live rock order, but was eradicated by my peppermint shrimp.

Nah its definitely a feather duster, watching it build its tube thing as we speak lol. That looks like Aiptasia, I had it on/in my initial live rock order, but was eradicated by my peppermint shrimp.
Keep all horrible smells to yourself please and ty lol. I was honestly expecting it to smell a lot worse than it did. It didn't smell bad but it didn't smell great either. Pretty much no ammonia smell. If its packaged anything like mine was im sure the die off shouldn't be too intense.I wish I could share the smell that I will get to enjoy.
