Those look to be snail eggs.

Looks like you nailed it. I have 10 cerrith snails and I just cross referenced the images of these snail eggs. 100% match. Is this good or bad that they are laying tons of eggs?

My ceriths go through spurts. One moment there's eggs everywhere and then none for awhile.

I hate to be a bother and double check, but I got a better picture. Are we sure this isn't a pyramid snail?

That's what I was wondering too, but I'm NO expert. It does look like a pyramid tho.

Can you point me to the prior discussion?

The features you'd need to tell the difference between a Rissoid and a Pyram are still not visible in that picture.

That's the first time I asked, but the camera wouldn't focus on it. Ill take one more photo, since it's in a better spot now.

Hope that that's focused enough for a definite ID. I am quite afraid of pyramid snails and want to be safe here.

I think I would take that out, Duke. If you do, can you grab some more pictures of it in a dish or something? I can't tell if it's totally smooth or not. There are some indications of possible hair like structures, but I can't tell if it's just movement or not.

Unfortunately no. It's need to go under a microscope. If you'd like to stick a couple in an envelope, I'll take a look if you don't have access to one.

I'll grab the best I can for you. Thanks for the response.

I would toss it or QT it if it's got you worried.
Let's see if this works, I still have it in a cup:

I pulled something like that out of my tank yesterday. It was a worm of some kind and had some tiny hairs with a pink head.
