I am assuming you are referring to what appears to be a very hairy crab in the live rock? If so no! Most likely a gorilla crab.

Ok, thanks! Here are some more pictures other people can use as reference:

Does that crab have cupped claws like this? If so it would be a Mitraculus Crab, which is a very good crab.

The new pics do appear more like a mithraculus. I would be hard pressed to call an unidentified mithraculus as very good though. Having crabs in a tank is a personal opinion. I know mike has had good sucess with many different crabs. That being said even some species of mithraculus get large enough and do catch fish if the opportunity arises. Their suitability depends a lot on the tank they are housed in. I do keep species of mithraculus but only those that I know both max size and preferred diet.

Please help ID. First and second pic is of a snail I found in my sump. It looks like some sort of cowry but not sure. Should I be concerned it'll make it's way up to the dp tank?

3rd pic is what look like hydroids. If so then will antipsia x help remove it? Thanks in advance.

So I just noticed this just a bit ago. Look dead center of the pic. There is a slit in the middle with two little things poking out. When I go near it it closes. Looks like there maybe tentacles holding it to the rock.

Odd.

Thanks,
Scott

Please tell me this isn't a Polyclad flatworm? ?? And if not, what is it and is it bad. They are purple, about the length of an ant.

Saw about 6 on 2 different rocks. I used a toothbrush on the rocks to get asterina stars off and they didn't move.

Thought I would take a look at my tank with lights off because it had been awhile since I've done so. Found about 100+ of these little critters. First thought was red bugs but they don't appear to be on any of my acros (Near the monti in pic but not on it). I have a video I could upload to YouTube I guess if it would help.

Forgot to add...they are the little specs in the pics. Couldn't get a great pic with my phone. They move very fast and appear to have a red body with a white tail/legs.

Here is a link to the video. Much clearer. I know there are different types of pods but these look pretty different compared to the copepods I've seen. The second video is of another pod or maybe a baby shrimp. I've only had 1 pep and 1cleaner shrimp in this system so I don't know how it would have happened.

(edit: just realized the second video is probably a mysis or something)
