I noticed these on my newly purchased zoanthids in my QT tank. Is it safe?

We found this on a very stressed out leopard wrasse. The thing fell apart when i tried to get it out. All the feathery tenticly things fell off. The first picture is of the main body, the second is of the stuff that came off it. That stuff is moving on its own too!

What is it? Thanks in advance!

That's a nudibrach. Reminds me of a starving Phyllodesmium poindimiei.

I actually just googled that. I guess it was in there eating coral and not the fish. :( darn. Now I gotta get back to the search for a monster. Thanks for the info!

From the look of it, it's not finding its preferred food. He's literally starving. They tend to fall apart when they get to a certain point.

OK, I am having a resurgence of unknowns after my diatom/vermetids have died back.
If this were out of water, I would call it yellow slime mold. I am sorry for the fuzziness of the pictures. They don't look like tentacles, but I could have seen it in a shrunken phase. With and without flash.

Anybody know what these are in the attachment. What are the little bugs you can see on top of the rock?

Those little specks that look like bumps on the rock? Look closely, do they appear to have shells? Or do they look like miniature shrimp?
