any ideas? i initially thought bristol worm. i noticed these little things mostly climbing on the back of the tank walls and in the corners of the glass. i did notice one crossing over a frag plug the other day (in the sand bed) so i pulled it out for a better look. should i be concerned?

I'll try to get a better pic, but this tube is open at both ends. I have never seen anything come out of either end, but the ends do open and close.

I have noticed that I have these tiny little spiraled things stuck to the back glass of my tank. They are super small like 1-2 mm across if that. There are a bunch of them spread out across the back of my glass.

I really tried to get a closeup of one of the few that are on the sides of my tank as well but all i have is a new iphone and while it has a great camera, the photo subject is so tiny and the lighting was not great so it was hard to focus but maybe someone can get an idea.

They do not seem to move or be affecting any of my stomatella snails that like to hang out on the glass so I do not know if I should be concerned or not but I figured I needed to ask anyway.

I see. Just did some reading and it eases my mind to know they are safe and harmless. On Sunday I just bought my first 2 saltwater fish! I got 2 beautiful juvenile black and white oscillaris clownfish. Hopefully soon I can get a nice good pic of them to share with the site. I hope to get some more livestock in there in the next few weeks.

Hopefully this will come through since they are so small. Are these amphipods? They look like tiny little shrimp that are swimming upside down. My tank is crawling with them. Is it weird that they are swimming around in a cluster like that? Usually when I see them they are crawling all over the rocks and down into the crevices and i found it odd that they were so concentrated in this small open area in my rocks. Im not concerned with their presence at all just curious.

Another question pertaining to this video, but the purple coraline that you can see on the rocks was already there when i bought the rock. The rest of the rocks were pretty much bright white when i put them in the tank so I am wondering if the bright green coloring on the rocks also going to become purple coraline? It's not fuzzy or stringy or anything it just looks as though the rock has been stained with a glowstick.

Coaraline is just about every color of the rainbow.

They might be baby feather dusters.

Any idea what this little guy might be? Found a few of these in the tank. Just need to know if they are good or bad for the tank.
