First, I believe that the "black circled things" are Limpets. They will show up in the hundreds, but most don't survive for long. Then you'll have another outbreak of them. They're harmless. And the jellyfish things are just that, jellyfish. They won't live for long in your tank. Do you use NSW?

The jelly fish things seem to present mostly in the morning when the lights first come on and then disappear during the day. If the NSW question was do I get my water from the ocean the answer is no, I use a mix Continuum's Halcyon

Does no one know what kind of snails these are? The shell is a rounded soft spiral, no point to it. Looks kindof like this but very tiny.

I've been searching and searching and I keep coming up with nothing. It reminds me of a sundial snail, but that is not quite it.

I think because you're looking at saltwater snails and the snail that is pictured is a freshwater/land snail. He said, "Looks kindof like this but very tiny." The snail pictured is from the family Ampullariidae.

Since he's trying to identify a saltwater snail similar I'd say look at Heliacus or Collonista. Baby Collonista are very common and look like that when tiny.

Found this guy in the sump today. I am thinking it is a Bristle worm. It is about 1/4" in diameter and a little over 10" long. Good/bad? Pulled him out to get a better look. Hasn't harmed the starfish I have in the sump or refridgum. Seems to live around the protein skimmer. Any thoughts?

Not a Heliacus (sundial) this shell is round but not a more flattened round like the sundial. It's more like a pea like round.

It looks most like the Collonista snail to me. Thanks :)

Looks like a Pareurythoe to me. It is an omnivore, predator, scavenger; so, it will eat things you don't want it to. Yours looks like it's been well fed.

My take on any of the bristle worms is: They are a very good member of your clean up crew, if they are over four inches I take them out; and, if you have a lot of them, the worms aren't the problem you have a dirty tank.
