Should I put ice in the cooler? It is about a 2.5 hour drive back to my house

i wouldn't. the temperature of the bags should hopefully keep things warm, but you could always bring a single ice pack or heating pad just in case?

i just cracked the lid open and kept the car temp at 77 during the drive back home.
