Rock identification isn’t my specialty, but “beachrock” (see the link below) may work, corals that are totally white and dead, sea shells, etc. are all calcium carbonate and should help (these are also known to grow algae pretty well). A better option would likely be to just buy some dry rock from an aquarium store, but these other options should all theoretically help.

The smaller pattern may be a bryozoan or similar, simple life form.
so collecting shells at the beach and putting them in my tank as decorations will help?

so cant u like mention someone who does rock id? and then I can ask them?
Haha, I could if I knew someone who fits the bill, but in this case I don’t. Most people just by live or dry aragonite rock and sand, a few use freshwater rocks like scoria or limestone, but no one I know has collected their own rock for their tank.

That seems to be a product similar to prime - honestly, if you can get your tank operating stably, you shouldn't need those products at all.
If u were to choose prime or fritz complete forgetting if u have one of them or not which one would you choose?

@ISpeakForTheSeas How long can I store oceanwater in a closed bucket until it goes stale or bad that I can't use it
I've never tried it, so I'll defer to those who have:
