Does anyone know if this fungia coral is splitting? It has tentacles coming from the purple area where the coral is stretching out its epidermis.

Looks more like “Budding” than splitting. The plate corals often die- go to seed and children bud from off the “dead” plate.
Yours appears to be budding while still alive, which is interesting.

IDK guys, this thing looks to be splitting in threes.
I just feed it and this mouth is huge. Cutting down the center and around the right side of it

This part here looks to be three mouths itself but it’s one giant mouth

First off, that’s an awesome color! It looks like it was eating at the time to me. Passing mysis toward the mouths. There are two mouths I see clearly. Have you checked the bottom to see if the skeleton is splitting along distinct lines? It could be a Diaseris that naturally fracture and frag themselves.
