My wife wanting all the big beautiful colored fish got my blessing to build a giant tank now, after I told her no to about a dozen fish that she wanted to put into our current tank that's entirely too small for them.

reef tank cycling doesn't work in any way we've been taught for the last 20 years. we've been wasting cash at astounding rates only recently discovered.

source: see any seneye owner's logs. see all seneye owner's logs to reveal the truth.

do a search: reef tank seneye and check their logs to see if ammonia control is a problem in reefing.

So totally agree....worms, sponges, limpets, etc....I've seen all of these seemingly pop up out of nowhere, even without adding new livestock for many months. It truly is a beautiful thing!

You know, thinking more about my Statement, if we would worry more about the actual water we keep than what's in the box, we would all be expert reefers. (for the most part)

This is so true. This hobby has taught me that you never know/can tell who's getting elbow deep in a reef lol
