So inspiring. Can't wait till I have something grow so I can snap some off and contribute.

FYI - I saw about 20 of you guys in the reflection! Now I know what your fish see when its feeding time. Seriously though, great thread.

Here is the progression of our 10000L coral exhibit at Sjöfartsmuseet Akvariet(The Maritime Museum & Aquarium Gothenburg).
Sorry for iPhone pics, I'm not that good with cameras..
The first is from May 2014 and the last is in July 2017. I will try to make a tread for this tank when I have the time :)

Wow! Beautiful tank. What is the dimensions of this tank? How have you constructed the back wall, and how did you stabilize the rock on that wall?

Thanks! Don't have the exact measures but it's about 1,8 meters deep, 1,8 meters wide and the length is around 3 meters.
The wall of the tank is concrete covered with epoxy. The background inside the tank is made of epoxy. We did it ourselves a couple of years ago, not perfect but it's strong :) I put some extra pvc-pipes under the background before we put the rocks on it. So it's not solid, it's only about 0,5 cm thick.
To get the rocks "hanging" on the background we used pvc-pipes, drilled holes in the rock and through the background and stuck the rock with pipes in it onto the wall.
If you like to see some pictures I have a tread on a Swedish forum about this tank. When I get the time I will try to pick out the best parts from that tread and translate to English and post here :)
Here is the tread:

I’ve just noticed the title so here are a few shots from start to current date. I set the tank up knowing hardly anything about fish tanks in June 2016!

I learned very quickly as you will see!

Six months in on my 220 in-wall tank. Not that much to look at yet but slowly and steadily making progress. This was a combining of requests when we built our house this past year. He wanted the bar and I wanted a built-in tank. We're both happy with how it turned out.
