Thank you ! ! !Merry Christmas Fudsey
Glad u checked it again. My money is on a bacterial die off due to a spike or drop off in one of the trace elements. Which is spiking ur no2 and screwing up ur results on no3.Well it's not nearly as bad as I was thinking. Got a Salifert NO3 test kit today and it shows exactly 50. So there's something else going on. I also got an API nitrite test kit that I will test later to see if it shows any NO2.
Have you tried changing their locations, if possible?#honestyinreefing
I am losing my Euphyllia. Frog spawn is losing heads and I am down to only a few left of both. Lost my old Hammer about month and half ago also. New hammer is unaffected so far. Not sure what is causing this. NO3 is 50 but everything else is where it should be. No jelly that I can see, it looks like polyp bailout. I am at a loss as to what may be causing it.
I feed LRS Reef Frenzy daily, pellets 2x/day and ReefRoids weekly. They both get different flow and light and were fine up until a couple months ago.
NO3 - 50
PO4 - .07
dkH - 9.3
Ca - 430
Mg - 1440
pH - 8.0-8.2
Salinity - 1.025
I am sorry to hear this my friend, are you going to try to frag it to save some heads? probably the dkH is too high for it, perhaps something closer to 8.0 would help.#honestyinreefing

You don't run any phosphate remover, do you?
GFO & ROX mixedYou don't run any phosphate remover, do you?
I'd cut back on the GFO and let your PO4 come up to 1ppm to 0.1ppm to 0.14ppm. Typically, 0.07ppm would be fine but you may have something interfering with your test and could be bottoming it out.GFO & ROX mixed
