Actually I am a old r2r member. I start my 1st 150 gallons large mix reef tank 2014 until 2018. I convert it to Fish only tank in 2018. I didn't have time to maintain it because my mother was sick at the time, and I needed to take care of her. A year later, my mother passed away, and I couldn't forget about my coral tank. So I decided to start a nano coral tank that I can maintain even when I'm busy. That's how I have been taking care of it until now, and I believe I will continue to do so in the future.
All along, I have been maintaining this tank with a simple way.
Here is my tank detail:
Tank age = From September 2019 until now ( around 42 months)
Tank size =35cm cube
Live rock =two little fishs stax
Lighting =Ai prime 16HD
Skimmer =Bubble magus qq1 hang on skimmer
Wave maker =Jebao sw2 x2
Filter = Eheim 2213 classic canister
Dosing pump =Kamoer X1 Dosing Pump
Chiller =Hailea 150A
Salt = Aquaforest reef salt
Maintenance
Clean the glass every day.
30% Water changed every week.
Dosing Tropic Marin All for reef 19ml every day.
Feeding Easy Reef - Easy Booster Nano 5ml every day.
Water parameter
Actually I rarely test the water.
I just maintain KH around 7 for my tank.
No3 less than 5 and Po4 around 0.03 (using Salifert test kit)
Live stocks
Most corals I keep are beginner corals (birdnest, montipora, digitata, pocci, goniopora, mushroom, zoa, blasto, finger, crocea clams)
A pair of nemo (black storm and platinum), yellow coris wrasse, algae blenny, green mandarin.
Thank you, everyone.
