I ordered mine last night and I've already been reimbursed. I'm going to run it through it's paces and worst case I will have a free backup skimmer if nothing else. I should have it tomorrow and will be setting it up to break it in. So yes it is legit and I'm looking forward to using it. Hoping they come out with a 1000gph and larger DC pumps.

Currently I am running a 100g total volume tank.

Right now I am using the Nyos 120 and with my heavy bio load I was looking for bigger skimmer. I would be interested in trying dc skimmer and the design looks very interesting.

Got it today. Put it together and I will drop it in this weekend when I will have more time to adjust it and watch during break in. It is a solid build. My current skimmer is an aquamaxx DC q3 which is the next size up from this one. This has a 16w pump vs a 24w pump on my current one. I usually run it at about 18-20 watts. I do like the the drain valve on it. I also like the smaller footprint as well. My plan is to run them both side by side until this one breaks in and I'll shut my other one off and remove it and see how it does.

I like the footprint of the skimmer and have been looking for something to try that can handle a 125. I have an external red sea that I haven't hooked up because of space issues but would like to try this.

I have a 75 gallon mixed reef with a heavy bioload. My Reef Octopus isn't cutting it.
I'd love to try your skimmer and give a review.
While I have only a 75 gal right now, my husband is shopping for a 225, so an upgrade will be coming.
