Man, no joking at all, I have absolute hate for acupuncture. When my wife and I were trying IVF, which didn't work and I blame on the doctor (long story for another time), they know you're desperate if you're in their office. Luckily, we had insurance so only had to pay $30,000 instead of $90,000-$100,000. Anywho, the IVF doctor recommended a specific acupuncture doctor that ended up charging us thousands of dollars before I finally told my wife that enough was enough. After all, it's not an easy situation to be in to have to ask your wife to stop trying, but come on. It was just insult to injury, and if I had to guess, the IVF doc got a cut of the acupuncture conman's grift.

We had some friends that had failure to term with IVF. They tried another doctor and then had twins. A year later they got pregnant naturally. It's crazy how nature works. This was about 12 years ago but I dont think they came out of pocket for more than 5k each time. We are in redneck Indiana though.
