Anybody know what the first coral is? I bought it and was told it was a favia, but it doesn't look like it to me. Notice how it's kinda wrapping itself around the disk. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a favia grows its skeleton up, rather than wrapping like this. When it feeds, it gets tentacles more like an acan, but doesn't ever get fluffy like an acan does. Is it maybe a Trachyphilia?? You can see it again in the second pic.

Second pic is a shot looking into the end of the 20L frag tank. This is why I need more frag space.

What is it that makes you so sure? I have never seen favia wrap around something like that. Its not just flesh splayed out there.

Favia encrusts just like a chalice or monti. Also it has individual "heads". And the comment about tentacles, Favia has tentacles that come out from the eye. Lastly it looks just like a Favia :)

Did they have anymore?

It was the only one they had. It really stuck out like a sore thumb in the tank, it's so bright and different. I couldn't believe how cheap it was, so I couldn't pass it up at that price.

How are the Emeralds on Fire doing? I've got something like 16 more frags of them ready for the swap.

They are doing great man! You were right about that color, I could slap those babies under natural sunlight and they glow.
