Depends on if at school cuz I have Par38 bulbs for that. At home 24w t5s. Filtration varies between standard hob at schools to protein skimmer or sump set up at home.

I am working on making a little diy hob protein skimmer combo.

I use 2 of these for my traveling tanks to class rooms. Love them. Great little tanks. I always change the lighting and filtration though. Nice Tank!!!
I used to have to move mine back and forth every few weeks or so when their were breaks and they closed the dorms. I got very good at it after a while haha.

I am still dying to see how you did it . I just got my hands on a 6g edge and I am thinking of installing a overflow as well
My overflow box just holds the heater and a return pump at the moment. I usually run chemipure blue but I'm waiting to get some from amazon. I'll throw together a little tutorial this weekend. Probably Sunday. It was important to me that I kept the stock look so the AI prime fit the bill for lighting perfectly.

What do you change the lighting to ? Filtration to ?
If you don't plan on moving the tank, you can easily put a couple of bulkheads in the rear column with the setup that I run and plumb it for a sump while keeping the stock look.
