So my flow in my tank is 40 gallon n needed some help purifying the water with small things floating in the tank and I had gotten a aquarium polisher pushing out 290gph I don't have an adjustable flow setting is my tank ganna be okay to leaving it on or is that to much I've been trying to do read up but I'm a little lost

Most tanks run 10x the gallons so 280 isnt bad. It can run just aim it for surface agitation

I run a pump like this on 40-50% in my 42 bow front blows straight crossed front of tank keeps everything up. But no corals and just holding until the new builds done

My 40 gallon has 2 gyres at 50% plus the return pump. Personally I feel that little 290gph pump won’t be sufficient.
