I have a syringe that I keep just for this purpose. I have a lifereef skimmer and every time I clean the collection cup I grab the syringe, collect some water out of the sump, and then inject it back into the venture. It is somewhat self cleaning anyway by condensation using this tube from the cup back to the venture body but since I have the tube off to remove the cup figured it is something to do. Couple quick injections seems to work.

But your PSA is sound - maybe I'll have to take it out for a look. It has been a year at least. Thanks for the suggestion.

Doesn't look like much now, but should look pretty good as it grows:

Some great feedback you received there Flips. I always find it difficult to place corals once I introduce them. Missing that vision or artistic touch which is probably why my tank is empty at the moment :D

Always open for feedback! It's really like underwater gardening. Problem is at some point I'm either going to need a bigger tank or a whole lot of fragging is going down! Lol

Okay so I've said I've been a IO salt user for a long time, but no one locally is carrying it it seems. I need salt and don't want to have it shipped, so I caved in and......

Sand is to replace what I've taken out.

So, any feed back on Fritz before I use it?

I’ve been using the blue fritz and your gifted corals don’t mind it. I also have the same sand (but got the “live” version) and loooove it! Highly recommend rinsing it though.

Good to know and I do plan on rinsing it very well. Dry is always full of dust. Thanks for the feed back! :)

I believe it is what @RichtheReefer21 uses. Maybe he has some insight ;)

Yep. I swear by it if ur not trying to run super SPS growth dkH. I use about 1/2 cup per gallon to hit 1.024-.026, and it hits 8.2-8.6 dkh every time for me (red sea titration approved)

Been using it for 4 months, and my Ca hovers at 430ish.

They wanted $50 a box or something insane at their KoR expo last month. I wait for my lfs to run a sale and I take home 2 boxes a whack for $36 a piece.

I run my dkh around 9-9.5 thats with kalkwasser in my ATO. I mixed some before bed last night. It's very fine granules compared to IO. Dissolves quickly if added slowly.

You definitely have a knack for placing coral where its aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Since my reboot is complete I plan to grab a few as time goes on and would like to lean on you for coral and placement ideas if your willing to help.

Yeah..... feel so bad for you and that kind of "out of hand" problem [emoji13]

It's a good problem, but I'm maxed out on room. Frag tank needs to be installed soon.

are you thinking about installing a frag tank?

Been thinking about it. I've got 2 empty 20 longs and a 56 collum. 20's would work well as a frag tank. I don't need much, but I need one.

Don,
How much will you frag back your monti?

I know you have to frag it back, but it's got a perfect shape.
